WELFARE GRANTS
Grants are available from the Welfare Fund to individuals who:
- are affected by illness or disability who are living on benefits or a low income
- and live in the area of benefit.
We offer grants of up to £500 for essential household items, basic electrical goods and white goods, disability aids and equipment, and start-up packages for newly housed homeless people. We cannot make grants for educational purposes or to pay off debts.
In 2011/12 the Charity awarded a total of £146,000 to 404 individuals and families. Richard Cloudesley’s Charity’s Welfare Fund is administered by the Cripplegate Foundation. Details of how to apply can be found on the Cripplegate Foundation website.
